4g speeds

Am now taking some serious interest in my 4 g device which I acquired about a year ago. Touted to be the first four G device my HTC evo has been really good especially after I deployed an extended battery! Now since I recently pampered myself with the galaxy 10.1 , I a getting myself to use rge 4 g a lot more. Am in Charolette airport and the speed test just clocked about 3 mbps download. Pretty neat I think. But yet to reach the promised 4 G levels I guess.

Hey ! So I got this tab /slate (whatever). Its good ! Now , you dont want to make a comparison with the tablet king because this is a different animal altogether  ( no its not a coke Vs Pepsi story either !)

Android is in its infancy with regards to tablet OS and I think Honeycomb is a wonderful start . The galaxy tab is a cool device , sleek and smart. You need to unthink IPAD to consider this.

The most important , and the best feature is the Google integration . With a sigle sign on , I am on the same plane by phone , and slate.

Just wait for the Apps to be developed bug free !!! 

Its my Birthday today ... so ??

Its been quite a journey till now , very eventful !! 

There was a time when you were in Junior school and everybody knew it was your birthday and considered you special on that day !! Well , let me tell you .. Facebook is that school now !  I have been overwhelmed by the wishes flooding my strong wall and I like the "feeling special" . 

Life ,obviously has been begging to make a turn for a while now .  I think I should consider it this time . I dont mean to morph into a boring middle aged guy but I guess will try to be someone I always imagined myself to be ....  hope it works out this time.

3Gs , Evo .. now what?

So , I travelled the journey of the IP 3GS ( my brother has ever since jailbroken, glass broken it !) through to the HTC evo ( the Android king waiting to be relieved) and now what ???
I need to get another PHONE !! a sprint contract that ties me down to them for another 14 months and no new phones in the nearest future .... I am a desperate man !!!

I have a "mota" bhai in office who is broadcasting to everyone planning to buy a new smart phone to wait for the Iphone 5 apparently coming out in the summer , I am like .. lets wait for IP 6 man !!!

Ok , here's the deal . I am mighty pleased with the Android , not as UI awesome as the IP but does carry a nice load of goodies ! this is a true multi tasker . What I miss in an Itunes style interface between phone and computer ....  ( No , I am not getting the IP4 or waiting for the IP5 or 6 ) .

they say HTC will try to upgrade their Evo's to Froyo before launch . This could be a huge task . I am expecting mine to come with the 2.1 with an option of instant upgrades . A friend in India called to check if I am getting any active links to download Froyo to the Nexus 1 , found this link but all gizmodo to me !!

HTC Evo ....

I am feeling better , pre ordered the HTC Evo . Lets see how that come by . Actually I am very bored with the Iphone ! I feel , the Android OS offers much more space and freedom . Got to wait till June 4th :)
